About the Mareeba Business Womens Club
The Mareeba Business Women's Club Inc. was established some 17 years ago to bring together women in business and to provide friendship, information sharing and inspiration to its members and women in general. The Club is a not for profit organization and is involved in fundraising for its annual Bursary Award which is presented each year to a senior student of the Mareeba State High School and also raises funds to assist in community projects.
Each month (3rd Wednesday) the Club holds an informal dinner with a guest speaker and arranges networking opportunities and activities. The monthly dinner meeting is an opportunity for all business women (not only women who have their own business, but women who work for a business) to meet over dinner, to catch up, talk business and make new contacts and friends. Every business woman in the Mareeba District is encouraged to join and contribute to the Club.
